Temporary Chats

Temporary chats allow you to have conversations that are not stored in your chat history. This is ideal for quick queries, sensitive information, or when you simply don’t want a transcript of the conversation saved to your account.

How it Works

• No Chat History: When a temporary chat is active, ORUSH AI does not store any record of the conversation. Once the session is closed, the chat and its context are gone.
• Privacy-Focused: Ideal for tasks where you want to ensure no local record of the interaction remains.

Activating Temporary Chats

You can easily activate a temporary chat session:

1. Look for the Temporary Chat icon.
2. The icon is located next to the New Chat button in the sidebar.
3. Clicking the icon will open a new, private chat session indicated by a distinct temporary chat status.

[!NOTE] While ORUSH AI does not store your temporary chat history, individual LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) may retain your input for a short period to comply with their safety and security policies. Please refer to each provider’s official documentation for details on their data retention policies.
